Fix flags changed by smart punctuation.

Overview

A command flag starts with two hyphens (--), not an em dash (—). Paste the command example or turn off Smart Punctuation in your keyboard settings.

Check the full command before sending it again. An unrecognized flag should produce a usage response rather than silently changing the action.
